I am a mother of one, massage therapist, yoga & meditation teacher, and reiki master. I have also practiced vital herbalism for 22 years and incorporate herbal remedies within my practice. My love of all things holistic brought me to massage 15+ years ago, and through it I found a most beloved career and purpose, not to mention healing from my own pain(s)! My style is nurturing, integrative, and thorough. Your sessions are customized to you at every moment, utilizing high standards of practice to better serve my clients.

Herbalism found me at a young age. As a teenager with a country-Michigan herb garden, I'd read every herbal book I could find and create tea blends and skin care for my family. After studying in a master herbalist program in 2003 with an alternative health academy & fully realizing my empathic abilities, I decided to take a hands-on approach to holistic health and began training at Advanced Fuller School of Massage in Virginia Beach.
At the same time, a friend invited me to my first yoga class, and the journey began. With these tools I learned how to manage my own severe scoliosis and treat others as well. In 2014, I became a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher; in 2017, finished my Reiki Master Certification as well as certifying in Yin Yoga. Over the years I have added many efficient modalities to my toolbox. I support these healing practices with knowledge of herbology, nutrition, fitness, and holistic health. Every one of these is a tool to access our inner healer, which, at the end of the day, requires the ability to sit with ourselves, love ourselves, and just "be". I prefer to work a whole person approach to clear signs indicative of deeper distress. Tapping into ones inner healer is the surest way to bring wholeness. We must work both shadow and light, yin and yang, to reach these states. |
